The Spirit Men of the Old Factory
Once I had a business meeting located in an old brick exterior factory mill building that had been converted into modern day offices. It was tucked away at the end of a dead end, next to the commuter rail line.
The whole time the other folks in the meeting were talking I was picking up vibes from the brick walls. I couldn’t stop staring at them. I began tuning into the vibes of the building and found myself looking at a scene of men in their 20’s and 30’s, back in the 1930’s, maybe even 1920’s, wearing wool caps with brims and dark cloth pants held up with suspenders. Most had brown work shoes with tie laces. They all seemed to be wearing white undershirts. I also picked up that horses were in the building. These were memories imprinted in the fabric of the building, they were not active haunts. Never the less, they were still strongly infused in the energy of the building!
The men were smiling and laughing as they did their work, some were pulling levers, some were hauling boxes. I couldn’t quite make out what they were doing or saying but they felt happy. There was a feeling of camaraderie amongst all these men who worked so hard all day long. At the end of the meeting, I walked over to the wall and laid my hand on the brick. It was gratifying. The host of the meeting, who worked in the building, looked at me and smiled. With a chuckle he said the building was an oldie but goodie.
When I explained what was going on for me as I touched those bricks laden with memories his response was so eloquently simple: “Wow. So, I know a real psychic. Pretty neat.” He asked a couple of questions about the kind of work that had been done etc. Then it was off to another meeting.
Just like that… reading the energy of old buildings can be fun and educational for folks!
