Meditation 365 Challenge
Happy New Year everyone! This coming year, I am committing to the Meditation 365 challenge within the Insight Meditation* community. (You can download their app called Insight Timer and join over a million people from around the world who meditate!) I have been using their meditation timer for years to not only meditate but also to keep track of time during the classes I teach.
This is a challenge to meditate every day. It doesn’t matter what kind, or for how long, just a promise to myself to get on my cushion daily. It isn’t so much a resolution or a goal as it is a wellness practice.
So far, 35,000 people have taken the pledge to meditate every day in 2017. #wow
I invite you to join me. You can download the app onto your smartphone and look for the meditation 365 group to join. Let’s link up! Within the app, there is a large community of people from all over the world who meditate. There are guided meditations from many experts from all over the world (look for a couple being published in the new year by me) a timer with preset bells you can customize, and a social connection section that lets you talk to other meditators. Don’t worry though, it’s all customizable, so if you want to be anonymous you can be.
