Scientific Study Finds Short Term Exposure to Essential Oils Beneficial
According to a 2012 scientific study in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology, essential oils, some of which I use to make my line of Aura Sprays, are reported to have a beneficial effect on heart rate and blood pressure following short-term exposure, which may therefore reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
Results showed that when people stayed in a room infused with the essential oils scents for less than 45 minutes their blood pressure reduced by 2.10 mmHg(unit of measurement) and their heart rate reduced by 2.21 beats per minute. The study also indicated that after 75 minutes heart rate and blood pressure increased.
I use essential oils in my hand made aura sprays.
