Hi everyone. Welcome to mid-month. As you know, I like to share with you about what I got in my monthly orders from doTERRA.
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Laura West and I am a trained herbalist. I’m a Reiki master teacher, I’m a psychic medium and a channel. And I work with doTerra essential oils among other things in my client practice here in my Cambridge office.
And today, I want to talk to you about veggie capsules. They come in this container and there are 160 capsules in one container. And I forget how much this is, but it’s like under $10 for this. They look like this. I don’t know if you can see that up close and they come apart, and these are so fantastic for when we are making our own essential oil blends to take internally.
I always counsel everybody that works with essential oils that comes through my practice: when you start working with your oils, most often folks think about diffusing (there’s this diffuser going behind me in the room) them to smell with their olfactory senses to receive benefits of the soothing, and calming properties of oils. But one of the things that I love about working with doTERRA essential oils is they’re so pure and so potent that we can think about using them in addition to our supplements and use them internally.
There is a rating system and there’s a scale. Not every oil can be used internally. Only the ones that are marked with an I on their literature, Internal, is what it stands for.
So, when folks start with their essential oils with me, I say to them, “Okay, so get yourself a little starter kit and based on your needs, you’re going to want to be using this oil, this oil and this oil. This one you’re going to use topically and these two are going to put into a little capsule.” And I say, I always recommend: “get yourself a bottle of Veggie capsules. They are really, really valuable to have in our tool kit to use with our oils.” There’s a couple of other tools that I would recommend people to get, in addition to their little starter kits with their diffuser and their oils. But these are universal.
Of course, if you’re not doing doTERRA, you can always order veggie caps from another company somewhere. But it’s nice for those of us who have wholesale accounts or who are interested in utilizing doTERRA through the retail way, because it opens up a whole new level of usability and functionality in our essential oil use in our doTERRA world.
So, if you haven’t started using veggie caps with your oil yet, they’re really cheap and they’re easy. And then just keep them on the counter and anytime you need to make a blend, you just drop your oil in and then swallow with some water.
