The question this week was sent in by a client: I would like very much to know what their (the Council of Light’s) opinion would be regarding the role of the individual “Will” as well as the divine “Will”. Generally, I find that spirit – polarized consciousness has little information or regard about the role of the “magnetic” or “Will” polarity in manifestation and it’s role in our healing on earth.

Council of Light Answer:

Well Laura, good morning to you. We are glad you are here today. And, we can say that this weeks question is a very interesting and intriguing one indeed. We are here to answer it in full as best we can and we wish to say that it may require more than one answering session. Should the person who is reading the answer find that they have more questions based on our reply, they should feel free to respond again with more questions.

And so, we begin.

The will that is referred to here is the soul. And, the soul is each individual person on the earth incarnated in human form. But, it is also the soul that is not incarnated that some of you refer to as ghost or spirit energy. We are this. We are all, you the reader, and us in spirit form, are individual wills because we all have individual, unique desires. And we all seek, including ourselves here in the Council of Light, to move forward on the continuum of evolution and evolvement towards enlightenment. And we have said before that some souls are farther along that continuum and are closer to attaining enlightenment while others have a long way to travel. All of this is okay and none of which is wrong or bad.

Those of you who are at the beginning stages of attaining enlightenment, awakening, awareness, however you wish to label it, are doing just fine. And, you may not even realize that you are on this path, which is okay. Although we must say that most of you who are reading our message are aware on some level and you are farther along than in the beginning stages we are speaking about.

So, everyone has their own will, their own desire, their own quest that they are searching and seeking, their own path that they are riding on throughout their lives. And, spirit does not have to incarnate into human form to be on this path. However, some spirit is charged, such as us, with helping humans, or spirit that has incarnated into human form, to grow on their path towards enlightenment. Now, it is true that some spirit that is not incarnated into human form has no interest in helping humanity grow because that spirit was once a part of humanity. We refer now to crossed over loved ones who are not evolved light beings such as us and by this comparison we don’t mean to convey that we are better, we just mean to say that we are farther along in our evolutionary process of being closer to enlightenment.

You see, our task is never to incarnate in human form but to help those of you who choose to incarnate. And so, there are some spirits whom have once been in human form and now they are in their resting state of spirit form and they may not have an interest in helping you along on your journeys through life. And, this is okay because they have their own agenda to focus on. Their task is not to be helpers to humanity. A grandmother who passes over into spirit form does not suddenly become a messiah, or prophet, or a spirit who helps change humanities views on consciousness, for she still has many lifetimes to evolve through before she has those kinds of understandings.

People like Buddha and Jesus and Muhammad, whom we have spoken about before, are exceptions to this rule for they attained enlightenment rather quickly in their human forms through one lifetime. And, they are charged with helping humans grow, much like they did.

We must pause here for a moment and speak about the differences between spirit in an explicit manner. There are many kinds of spirits out there in the universe. There are many forms of being. So many with much diversity and it can be hard for humanity to comprehend all the complexities and differences so we shall say that some spirit energy is dense and has a baser feeling to it and some spirit energy is lighter and has a fresher, freer feeling to it. Typically, this denser, baser energy wishes to control humanity and hold it back from evolutionary growth. For, if humanity evolves and grows and shifts consciousness into lighter energy stages then this base, dense energy system cannot control it anymore. So, it wishes humanity not to evolve. And, for sensitive humans who can distinguish and feel the difference between energy systems, this energy can come across to you as not caring about your evolutionary process or not attempting or willing or wishing to help individuals move forward in their path of light.

It is important for humans who are wishing to seek guidance from spirit to request specifically to be connected to all spirit that is of the light. And, typically all spirit that is of the light seeks to help humanity moving forward on its continuum. The energies of 2012 are fast approaching and there will be a cataclysmic, energetic shift in the earth’s energy vibrations during this time. And, if humanity is clear with its purpose and seeks to step up onto the next rung on the ladder of evolution and requests support and guidance and help from spirit whose task it is to help along this journey, then individuals will find that they are connected to spirit energy that is in fact helping them and does in fact care whether they evolve and grow and change.

We must say again that each individual must request this explicitly. For, there are so many spirit energies out there with their own agendas that if humanity opens itself up to working with spirit energy with no filters, it is like Grand Central Station in New York City. Any and all spirit energy that is in your area and can hear your request will come charging through to work with you and some have no regard for your wishes, but, they wish to fulfill their own manifestations and desires and they may not have the same goals that you as a human have. And, we need to say that this is okay for them because they are working towards their own goals on their own path, but, their path might not be compatible with yours. So, by framing the context in which you are to work with spirit, you are creating the boundaries and parameters around the guidance and help you shall receive.

To the person who asked this wonderful question, we say to you, you are aware of the subtleties and differences between spirit wishing to help you and spirit wishing to hold you back, although you may not have been explicitly, consciously aware of these subtleties, we can tell you that you have experienced the differences in working with spirit and having experiences. We say to you specifically now that you must request out loud and consciously, only to work with the highest and best in love and light and wisdom. As an aside, we say that Laura is a good resource for support in this area because she works so closely with spirit and she only works with those of us from the light that are helping humanity propel itself forward. She does not work with base, dark, deep energies who wish to hold humanity back. And, you as the reader who asked this question may want to seek clarification from her as a human resource.

And we say to you now that it is up to you whether you experience this or not. For, spirit cannot control your life. Well, in actuality, deeper denser spirit can, and will try, but, spirit from the light whom has been charged with helping you to grow, cannot control you. We as a group cannot control humanity but we can suggest to you all ways and tips and tricks for how to live more prosperous, emotionally fulfilled lives and we see that you are welcome to take our advice or not for you have free will and you can choose to do whatever you wish in your own lives. You are in complete control of your own destinies and you get to decide what happens.

Now, some of you, not most of the readers of our message, but some of you as humanity, go through periods in your lives where you are lost emotionally. Typically this is seen during teenage years. And, you seek out experiences that are heavy and huge that stand out deeply in your lives so that you can find some guidance and this is a time when darker energy that can be felt intensely will try to enter your lives. And, it has a very intense pull and draw and can be felt acutely. It is not subtle. And, it may be curious for humanity to experience it. But be careful. Heed our warning. It is not something to be played or toyed with. For when you become involved with this dark energy it is hard to disentangle from it. There are those humans who are perfectly comfortable and happy working with this dark energy and we wish to say to you many blessings and peace upon you and may you grow on your continuum of life in the way that you need to grow and if working with dark energy during this lifetime is the way that you need to grow and learn, then, so be it.

But, for those who are just the curious dabblers in experiencing work with different energy forms, we suggest that it is better for humanity if you work with the light. We cannot control you. We cannot keep you from making a decision one way or the other. But, we wish to say that our stance is one from the light. For, we live in the light, we come from the light, we work from the light and we are charged with spreading light through the universe to all sentient beings who wish to grow, evolve, and move forward on their continuums.

There are so many avenues in which humans can travel throughout one lifetime. There are so many experiences to be learned, lessons to be gained and garnered that we wish to say wherever you end up, whatever you choose to seek, however you choose to seek it, you are always continuously moving forward for seeking knowledge is growth and growth is evolution. And, with the right kind of request, such as, “I seek to work with the highest and best in love, light, and wisdom. All of my guides, teachers, healers, ascended masters, beings who work with me from the light, I request that you become fully present with me now so that I may learn from you and experience you,” or something to that effect, will help humanity to grow and move along on its continuum.
